Cathryn is an associate business lawyer at Magellan.

Cathryn practices in the areas of corporate and commercial, including: corporate governance, fiduciary obligations, purchase and sale of businesses, commercial leases, service and supply agreements and a wide range of other matters.

Cathryn was born and raised in Vancouver.  After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University, she worked in the fields of social work and municipal government for five years.  She left her former career to pursue law school at Thompson Rivers University and obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 2015.

Prior to joining Magellan, Cathryn articled and practiced as an associate lawyer at a reputable and one of the oldest law firms in Richmond, British Columbia.  During this time, she assisted clients in litigation and worked with a wide range of business owners.  She also brings experience through providing practical legal advice in her subsequent role as in-house counsel to a tech start-up company.

Cathryn is committed to supporting charitable causes and is particularly passionate about animal justice and the fight against cancer.  She has a long history of community involvement including with the BC Cancer Foundation and Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.

Cathryn currently resides in Coquitlam, British Columbia with her husband and two dogs.
