Sanjeev Patro is an associate of Magellan Law Corporation and a senior litigator. His practice is broadly based and encompasses such varied areas as commercial and business litigation, builders liens and property disputes, estates and trust litigation, variation of trusts and insurance matters. He represents individuals and small to medium-sized businesses in all levels of court in British Columbia.
Sanjeev’s clients are as diverse as the clients of Magellan Law Corporation and his advice and approach is tailored to meet the specific needs of his clients. He understands the stresses imposed by litigation and highly contentious disputes and his goal is to find the most effective and efficient means of resolving difficult situations for clients even if that means proposing a way forward that does not entail litigation.
Sanjeev practiced as a commercial litigation associate in Vancouver immediately prior to joining Magellan Law Corporation in the Fall of 2015. He received his Bachelor of Science in 1998 and his Bachelor of Laws in 2001, both from the University of British Columbia. Prior to commencing his practice as a lawyer, Sanjeev clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal and was articled with one of Vancouver’s oldest and largest law firms. Subsequently, he practiced in Surrey in a busy, general commercial litigation practice for a number of years. He has experience in appearing before all levels of courts in the Province of British Columbia and a variety of administrative tribunals and has experience as counsel at mediations and arbitrations.
